Don McSween 1986-87 Home White #5. Worn the year after MSU won the National Championship. McSween was the captain of the team but the "C" has been removed. Jersey has exceptional wear. Went on to a decent pro career with time split between the NHL and the minors. Drafted by the Sabres in 1983, McSween had a memorable career as a Spartan. Named Second team All-American in 1986 and 1987. Also among the many awards McSween earned are 1987 Academic All-American, 1987 MSU MVP and 1987 Outstanding Defensive Player award. Ranks fourth all-time career points as a defense-man with 129, 6th in defense career goals with 28, 3rd in defense career assist with 101. The Spartans 8th all-time for a career with 8 shorthanded goals. This is a jersey from one of Michigan State's greatest players.
