Chris Lawrence 2004-05 Home White #20. Jersey from Lawrence's sophomore year. Chris Lawrence was captain of the 2006-07 National Championship team in which MSU defeated Boston College 3-1. Questions during the season about the validity of a fourth line player being captain, Chris Lawrence answered all the critics soundly by rallying the Spartans for a historic stretch drive to the NC. Finishing his career with only 5 goals and 18 assists, it's the player the statistics do not show who will be remembered. Also, a favorite of younger MSU fans, the captain always made time to sign an autograph or take a photo.
