Chris Luongo 1985-89 Home White #6.   Jersey year is yet to be determined.   Luongo was alternate captain in 87-88 and captain in 88-89.   Jersey does not show evidence of a patch.   Compared to some jerseys from 85-86, this jersey does not show some of those traits.   My guess would be a 86-87 jersey from his sophomore season.   It doescompare favorably to the McSween jersey on this site, which is also a 86-87 jersey.  Luongo was a solid defense-man for the Spartans who went on to a long pro career with a few stints in the NHL.  Picked the best MSU defense-man in both 1988 and 1989.     Draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings.   This jersey was obtained through Briscol Auctions.
