Dwayne Norris 1988-92 Home White #14. Great jersey from one of the most prolific scorers in MSU history. Looking closely at the top left corner of the front of this jersey shows an outline of the 20 anniversary patch worn in 1991-92. This was Norris's senior year in which he was also an alternate captain. Jersey may have been worn in other years, as research is ongoing. Shirt shows excellent wear. Norris stands at 7th on the career scoring list at MSU with 218 total points. (105 g, 113 a). 7th all-time in goals scored , 7th in career short-handed goals with 9. Scored 44 goals his senior year, good for the 4th best season total, and 21 PP goals that same year which ties him for the 5th best season in MSU history. First team all-American 1992. Played in one of the best hockey games I've ever seen on Nov. 15th, 1991 vs LSSU. A 1-0 Spartan victory highlighted by Norris scoring a goal against LSSU stand-out goalie Darrin Madeley. Norris, had numerous break-away chances against Madeley, burying one for the game winner. Went on to play a handful of games in the NHL, but excelled in the German leagues becoming a star player. One of my two favorite Spartan players along with Rem Murray.
