Chris Snavely 2006-07 Home White 3rd #3 FF. Third jersey for the 06-07 season, this shirt was also worn in the national semifinal game against the Maine Blackbears. Snavely, a MSU senior, scored MSU's second goal of the game in the 2nd period. Rushing up ice with Justin Abdelkader, Snavely took a nifty drop pass from Abdelkader firing a blast that beat the Maine goalie up high. This tied the game at 2-2 in which MSU would eventually add another 2 goals in the third period to advance to the National Championship game versus Boston College. Winning the National Championship 3-1, the Spartans did not wear this jersey in the final game. In the NC game, the Spartans wore their away green set from the regular season.
Snavely was playing the best hockey of his career at the end of 2007. Finished his career with 7 goals and 36 assists. Now playing with the Wheeling Nailer of the ECHL.
