Tyler Howells 2006-07 Home White 3rd #16 FF "A". Third jersey for the 06-07
season, this shirt was also worn in the national semifinal game against the Maine Blackbears. Michigan State
won this game 4-2 and advanced to the Championship game defeating Boston college 3-1 to win the 2007 National Championship. The
Spartans did not wear this jersey in the final game. In the NC game, the Spartans wore their away green
set from the regular season. As a four year player at MSU, Howells finished his career with 16 goals and
70 assists. Although a defenseman, Howells was known as having the ability to play both offense
and defense logging a significant amount of time at forward, including 22 games in 06-07, 12 in 05-06, 14 in
04-05, and 25 in 03-04. Now plays for the Heilbronn Falcons.
